Pre-Mattel Addy American Girl Doll looks like she was rarely, if ever, played with. She is stamped Pleasant Company 148/16 on the back of her neck, and I believe she is a first release from 1993. Hair is still in original bun with blue ribbon, has squeezable vinyl, and soft eyelashes (all intact). She can hold a pose, eyes function as they should, and body is clean with no odors. Although not really noticeable in normal lighting, there is silver eye in her left eye, and looks like it's starting in her other eye. I used the camera flash to accentuate this issue - please see pics.
