1940s chocolate brown suit + extra donor pants!

It’s a 1947 chocolate brown two-piece with an extra pair of trousers used as salvage material. It was found in an old warehouse in Kansas and I imported it to Europe. It has some flaws but it’s still a wonderfully wearable suit, with WIDE legs and an extended leg I cut up from the second pair (so it’s cuffed!). Originally it was a 38S but with the trousers and personal (reversible) alterations it’s now a 36R with a shorter jacket. I love that silhouette, because it build on the length of the trousers and makes you look like Superman! The measurements are: Shoulders: 18” Chest: 19” (this can be let out again to approx. 20”) Waist: 17,5 (let out to 19”) Sleeve: 22” + 1,5” of fabric to let out. Length from base of collar: 27”. Trouser to wear: Waist: 15,5” Rise: 13” Inseam: 31,5” Outseam: 43,5” Includes original dating and maker.
